Hindi Is A National Language Not A Mother Tongue

Hindi is a national language not a mother tongue. In India there are 28 states and each states has its own language. In India we use a devanagari script. Devanagari script is a script in which many Indian languages ​​and some foreign languages ​​are written. Languages ​​are written in Devnagari, Sanskrit, Pali, Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Nepali, Garhwali, Bodo, Angika, Magahi, Bhojpuri, Maithili, Santhali etc. It is also called a civil script. Apart from this, in some situations Gujarati, Punjabi, Bishnupria, Manipuri, Roman and Urdu languages ​​are also written in Devanagari. Hindi is the state and the central Indian-Aryan language of the Indian republic.  And we did not learn and understand each states language. So, we use a common language that is Hindi. Hindi is commonly used in each states. So, we can say that Hindi is a National Language. 
Mother tongue is may be defined as when the child is born then in which language the mother first speaks to her child and child first listen and then speaks to her mother and the child says first words maa to her mother is known as mother tongue. In India each and every states has its own mother tongue so, how we can say that Hindi is a mother tongue.
